Gatorhide offers a limited warranty for the deck and dock coatings applied by our team. This warranty includes coverage for:

• Resurfacing: If the coating peels or flakes prematurely, we will provide resurfacing at no charge.
• Parts and Labor: If any issues arise due to defects in the application or materials used, including peeling or flaking, we will repair or reapply the coating at no cost, including labor and parts.
  
  

• The warranty period for residential applications is 10 years from the date of completion.
• The warranty period for commercial applications is 5 years from the date of completion.
  
  

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear: The natural aging of the coating or surface wear due to regular use or environmental exposure.
• Defective or rotten wood: Coating failure caused by underlying wood that is structurally compromised, such as rotting or warping, is not covered under this warranty.
• Damage caused by misuse or neglect: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow care instructions provided by Gatorhide.
• Acts of God: Damage caused by extreme weather events or natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, or other unforeseen natural occurrences.
• Color match issues: Variations in color matching or fading of the coating due to environmental factors or natural wear are not covered by this warranty.
  
  

To file a warranty claim, follow these steps:

1. Contact Gatorhide at 855-GATORGO (855-428-6746) or fill out and submit the form at the bottom of this page within the warranty period.
2. Provide a description of the issue along with photographs or documentation of the affected area.
3. After verification, a Gatorhide representative will inspect the project and determine if it falls under the warranty coverage.
   
   

If your warranty claim is accepted, Gatorhide will:

• Resurface the deck or dock if peeling or flaking is detected.
• Provide replacement parts and labor for affected areas at no additional cost.
  
  

Gatorhide's liability under this warranty is limited solely to the resurfacing, repair, and labor costs directly related to peeling or flaking. We are not responsible for incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from issues with the coating.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the service and the original installation site.

To maintain the effectiveness of the coating and protect your warranty, follow these basic maintenance guidelines:

• Clean your deck or dock regularly using mild soap and water.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, pressure washers, or abrasive tools that could damage the coating.
• Inspect for damage and address any minor issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.
